September 29, 2009—Our 2010 Schedule is filling up fast—if you are interested in booking Passport for a show in 2010 be sure to let us know soon! September 17, 2009—Thanks to all the “Passportians” who came out to the gigs this past summer—lots of fun at the yacht clubs, on the island, and in the pubs! September 16, 2009 – Passport has been asked to be the “house band” for the “Town of Lindsay Reunion Celebration” next July 31, 2010 at the Armouries in Lindsay. September 13, 2009—we are doing a Passport “alumni” gig at the Village Pump in Oshawa this Friday featuring Gord Miller & John Woodhouse with past band members Blaine McKenzie and Phil Ferguson. Come on out and enjoy some Passport tunes from a genuine vintage 2003 Passport set list! August 30, 2009 – We would like to thank Charlie Haggarty for joining Passport on Bass and Vocals for the summer of 2009 – Charlie was a perfect stand-in for Johnny Passport and brought his own personal touch and commitment to the gigs he played with us over the summer! June 23, 2009—Our Preston Pub dates have been postponed for July—we look forward to seeing all our Preston fans at our next date there on October 2nd! April 20, 2009—just launched our new website—you are looking at the 47th version of the Passport Website since we first appeared online in 1997. January 7, 2009 - Happy New Year! Our 2009 Show Schedule has been posted on the main page - lots of gigs to follow as the year progresses. December 23, 2008 -Happy Holidays to everyone and all the best for 2009 from Passport! November 29, 2008 - thanks to the great crowd at the Preston Pub this weekend - especially Linda & her bachelorette party team, Dan and Nicky for their birthday celebration, and for Shelley for being our percussionist for the last set of the night! Also thanks to Bernie for his great vocals on Proud Mary, Sean for his work on Can't Get Enough, and Roger for doing Mustang Sally. A great night was had by all! November 19, 2008 - It appears that our gig at the Blue Goose in Toronto this Friday Nov 21st has been postponed due to a Disney Conference at the famous Toronto landmark. Mickey and Donald have booked the entire complex for their event and for some reason did not want Passport to be the resident rock and roll band that night. That's ok - i don't know how to play "It's a Small World" anyway... Stay tuned for the rebooking details - probably in January 2009. August 21, 2008 - Passport has been booked to perform at the Toronto Bluffer's Park Yacht Club for their Halloween Event on October 18. Ghost Crab anyone? August 17, 2008 - Well it was a clear and starry night with a beautiful full moon last night at the Highland Yacht Club in Toronto as we played outside for a great HYC audience. Thanks to all for your great support! Also, thanks to Phil Ferguson for filling in for Roger on drums - we didn't miss a beat - great job Phil! August 2, 2008 - thanks to the Toronto Island Marina and the Yacht Club gang last night for a great night of rock and roll in the open air on Toronto Island. The warm breeze and the view of the Toronto Skyline as we played was wonderful! Thanks also to John Steele for sitting in for Johnny Woodhouse on bass.
